They also have a toll free customer service line to assist with any questions. We can also replace the lock on your Rhino or Liberty Safe or any other safe.
Yes, the safe’s combination can be changed. Safes that include an electronic lock will have instructions on how to change the combination in the users’ manual. Safes that include a mechanical dial will need to be changed with the help of a locksmith or local dealer.
Because fire will compromise the fire insulation of your safe, you will need to replace a safe that has been in contact with fire. If your safe comes into contact with fire, you should remove the items from the safe and discontinue storing anything inside it.

The key-lock is there to keep the dial from turning. The dial combination can be locked in an open or in a scrambled position. First, set the dial to “0”, then insert the key and turn it half a turn in a counterclockwise motion. The safe will then be locked. To unlock the safe, turn the key half a turn in a clockwise motion, remove the key, and redial the combination or turn the dial back to the opening position.
